The KFC Yum! Center is a multi-use arena located in the city of Louisville, the state of Kentucky. The construction of the arena cost approximately 8 million and it was opened in October 2010. The naming rights were purchased by fast food company Yum! Brands in 2010 for a deal for about US .5 million. The main tenants of the arena are the collegiate basketball teams of University of Louisville men and women.

The KFC Yum! Center comes in the 4th position of largest college basketball arenas in the country. The arena includes latest video systems including large LED video display, and LCD screens. The women volleyball team starts play at the arena for part time since 2012. Up till now, the record attendance of the arena is 22,815 reached in March 2013. The construction of this arena started in November 2008.

The arena features the latest in technological equipments including WiFi within the arena bowl, and for that it gives an excellent experience for fans to get pleasure from. The arena has a capacity of about 22,000 seats divided between upper and lower arena. It is consisted of more than 2,000 club seats, 71 luxury suites, 62 premium boxes, and 4 party suites. In addition to sports games, the arena is used to host family shows, concerts, wrestling events, ice shows and a lot more.

The arena is owned to Louisville Arena Authority and operated by AEG Facilities. Since its opening it has hosted great events and great artists have performed there including for instance Justin Bieber, and The Eagles that stopped there following the first months of the facility’s opening. The arena hosted the Basketball Tournament of the NCAA for 2nd and 3rd rounds in March 2012. And in December 2012, it played host to the Volleyball Championship NCAA women, and many other great events have been hosted in this arena.
